It's that time of year again, it's student night! Intu MetroCentres student event will be held Wednesday 28th September 3-9pm. I've styled three of Clarks new season styles in preparation for the night. For more inspiration you can see the rest of the styles I've put together here. Clarks will be offering 20% off full price ladies and mens shoes as well as handbags and accessories.

TOO MUCH IS NEVER ENOUGH

If you follow me on Instagram and see my daily outfits you'll know the only place I shop is Topshop. I can go in and instantly know if something is for me and if it will fit me and I know exactly what size I need when I walk in. Admittedly I also buy items I love in every colour it comes in especially trousers and tops that are easy to wear for work and are comfortable above all else. My nearest Topshop doesn't always have the newest stuff in so I have to travel into town to have more choice so I always like to look online and order what stores don't stock.

I love Topshops tailored pieces, very comfortable and easy to style smart for work, casual and for nights out and the block colours are also easy to match up with just about anything. It's clear I'm not a person that goes for patterns, I prefer things that are blocks of colour or with a stripe which makes everything a lot easier to style.

One of my favourites here are the pleated trousers, I have them in so many colours already and they are the most comfortable thing to wear, the darker shades are going to be perfect for autumn/ winter and still just as easy to style as the pastel tones. I can't wait to buy some of the new things in store and style them coming up to the colder months and add layers especially with the duster coats which are perfect for those in-between days.

If anyone else is like me and not quite ready to get the sandals out for summer yet (due to the indecisive weather) you'll still be wanting to wear your ankle boots.  But how do you stay summery is the question? After all it is may and we can't be wearing woolly jumpers for much longer!

The first of the four looks is of course festival based, can you tell I'm excited for Leeds? These amazing boots are perfect for festival season paired with shorts and even summer dresses to add a bit of edge to the outfit.

Transitioning to summer we all have our favourite black ankle boots we just cannot stop wearing. For as long as I can I'll be pairing mine with summer dresses and cute socks.

Duster jackets are one of the best layers for this awkward it looks hot but its not time of year. Paired with jeans and amazing pair of snake skin boots for summer or even pair with culottes to let the boots speak for themselves.

One of the most popular boots from autumn winter is of course the tortoise shell heel boot, it continues to stick around for summer. I've paired it with one of my favourite things right now- the jumpsuit, easy to layer with T-shirts and jackets for colder days and then it can show itself off on warmer days wit some pretty accessories.

Now I'm off university till September I'm trying to fill my spare time with things to do. When I'm not picking up extra shifts at work I have a summer project which I can't wait to get into and I'm hoping to get some work experience and volunteering fitted in. 

With so much time off for summer I really want to make the most of it, as well as gaining some experience to help my degree I want to make the most of my free time and actually see and do things. I'm going to Leeds festival this year which I'm really excited about and it'll be the best end to summer seeing my favourite bands with some of my best friends.
