If anyone else is like me and not quite ready to get the sandals out for summer yet (due to the indecisive weather) you'll still be wanting to wear your ankle boots. But how do you stay summery is the question? After all it is may and we can't be wearing woolly jumpers for much longer!
The first of the four looks is of course festival based, can you tell I'm excited for Leeds? These amazing boots are perfect for festival season paired with shorts and even summer dresses to add a bit of edge to the outfit.
Transitioning to summer we all have our favourite black ankle boots we just cannot stop wearing. For as long as I can I'll be pairing mine with summer dresses and cute socks.
Duster jackets are one of the best layers for this awkward it looks hot but its not time of year. Paired with jeans and amazing pair of snake skin boots for summer or even pair with culottes to let the boots speak for themselves.
One of the most popular boots from autumn winter is of course the tortoise shell heel boot, it continues to stick around for summer. I've paired it with one of my favourite things right now- the jumpsuit, easy to layer with T-shirts and jackets for colder days and then it can show itself off on warmer days wit some pretty accessories.

Adidas Originals: JD Sports
Now I'm off university till September I'm trying to fill my spare time with things to do. When I'm not picking up extra shifts at work I have a summer project which I can't wait to get into and I'm hoping to get some work experience and volunteering fitted in.
With so much time off for summer I really want to make the most of it, as well as gaining some experience to help my degree I want to make the most of my free time and actually see and do things. I'm going to Leeds festival this year which I'm really excited about and it'll be the best end to summer seeing my favourite bands with some of my best friends.

Shoes; Christopher Raeburn x Clarks
So I've been away from blogging for a while, university got crazy busy in the second semester and all of a sudden I had so much work to do within the space of a few weeks! With that I was also working a lot. So I decided to take a break from blogging, rather than force myself to blog just for the sake of it and post things I wasn't happy with. Now I'm finished university till September so I figured it was a great time to come back. What's a better time to come back than when you have a pair of Christopher Raeburn's in collaboration with Clarks?
I'm sure everyone is tired of me talking about Clarks so much but the brand is constantly getting more and more stylish and it certainly appeals to younger people now more than ever, especially with such amazing collaborations such as the Christopher Raeburn collection.
My struggle was deciding which pair to order because they are all so amazing! I normally opt for black everything but in this case I went for the grey pair because the colour is so lovely and perfect for summer. These sandals have to be the most comfortable, they are so cushioned and lightweight, I can't wait for the weather to get better so I can wear them more!

I went to New York in February for a week with university, most of my posts are on Instagram with a few others I've not posted here. Of course we happened to go during the coldest week of the year where it got down to -17 degrees one day, no matter how many thermals you wear it will not help when it's that cold! We had a lovely time, ate some amazing food and seen some incredible things!
We stayed at The Row hotel in Times Square so everything was within walking distance or a short subway ride away.
The best thing for me were the museums, I don't get a chance to go to many exhibitions because of the cost to get to London so we made the most of being there and seen some amazing fashion exhibitions (I'll do a separate post on those.) I would recommend going when it's warmer though, since everything is a walk away and most of the things to see are outside the cold definitely stop you from doing as much as you'd like too.
