Lots of new things have been bought over this month so far, from Mom jeans, new books, to a new Ted Baker bag in Leeds, a pretty Primark top, a Revlon colour stay lipstick, Martina T-bar geek shoes from Topshop (which I searched high and low for until I found them), I also just ordered them in Navy, they go with everything! And I mean everything.

I got this blouse in Tesco last week, it's good quality and I think it was about £8 so it was well priced!
Even though it's summer, I'm still stuck in my jeans every day, I just can't wear a dress and feel comfortable anymore. I've got so use to dressing for cold weather and because I'm trying to save money I'm staying away from buying new clothes!

I love these jeans so much! If like me at you were a little unsure about the 'Mom' jeans in Topshop then it's well worth just grabbing a pair to try on, you'll either love them or hate them! 

I love how comfy Topshop jeans are and I find the fit of them is great so I don't mind paying a little extra than I would in another high-street store!

I've been searching everywhere for the perfect sunglasses for the Summer but haven't had any luck what so ever! Then I managed to find more sunglasses than any girl needs on the Optical Express website, from tortoise shell to gold detailing, there is a large range to choose from, making it such a tough decision to choose a favourite pair! 

I am pretty much in love with those Prada and Versace sunnies though, all we need now is the weather to wear them in!

Having two weeks off college has been great! I've seen The Great Gatsby with some friends, seen the Hangover part 3, been to Leeds shopping, spent the night with two of my bestest friends I went to school with, ate some lovely food, bought new shoes and clothes (cue blister week), I've enjoyed the lovely weather and done some shopping as well as had some girly day outs. 

The Great Gatsby was so amazing! The title of this post is a quote from it, I also bought the soundtrack from the movie which I cannot stop listening too! 

I now have to go back to college for a few weeks to start A2 teaching then I get 2 months off for Summer, these next few weeks can not go by fast enough!

I wore this outfit to go shopping with Laura, Jasmine and Rachel and since buying these jeans, it's been super hard to take them off, they just go with everything and they're really comfortable. There is also an excessive amount of lipstick swatches on my hand, I'm on the hunt for the perfect shade and it just seems like I'm getting no where!
It was such a sunny day so we went to Nandos since we hadn't been for so long and sat outside. 

It was such a lovely day to go around town and grab something to eat with everyone and a chance to make the most of the sun!

This shirt was certainly one of my more pricey buys a while ago from Urban Outfitters but it was well worth it, it's so comfy and really good quality! When you go shopping with Laura though, you buy crazy amounts of things! 

On Saturday I went to Leeds and picked up a few new things so I'll share them with you once I get the chance to take some pictures when it's nice and light in my room :)

The shops there are amazing! There's just so many of them, I was in heaven! We went on a coach trip so it only cost £10 per person so if you ever get the chance or you can get a train then it's well worth it!

I went shopping yesterday with Rachel and was on the look out for a top in Topshop and none of the ones in my price range I tried looked right! Luckily I picked up a little white loose hanging cami top in River Island for only £10! 

I was also in need of a new bus pass holder so I picked up one in Cath Kidston with a cute train print on it.

With it being summer I was in need of a bright nail polish that was at a reasonable price so I got a Maybelline Colour Show in Pow Green.

 It was time I took off the jeans I wore something a little different especially since the sun has been out for a few days, I am however out to buy some of the Mom jeans from Topshop so I'll still be in jeans all summer. I do find it tough to dress for hot days because I get so use to dressing for cold rainy days so I need a few brighter things for my wardrobe to get me through the summer, some light fabrics and maybe some pretty flowery tops!

On Saturday I'm going to Leeds for the day to go shopping so I'm on the look out for a few things to make my wardrobe summery and hopefully I'll be able to pick up a pair of new shoes as well. These past couple of days of sun have had me clueless on what shoes to wear with dresses and skirts, which means I've played it safe and worn jeans with a pretty top. I've got too use to putting a pair of boots on with jeans. I just don't know how to cope in this weather anymore haha! 

Fashion Friday #38

Topshop really do have some lovely simple pieces in this Summer, from florals to blocks of colour to frilly socks they really have a lot to offer. I'm in need of updating my wardrobe a little for summer but one thing I'm a little scared of is colour, mainly due to my hair colour but the lighter and darker pieces they have in with floral prints would be a great alternative for me or anyone else who's scared of colour!

I'm also in need of the 'Mom' jeans which I have tried and they fit so well, they would be a much more summery option compared to my Leigh jeans I wear the life out of!

I also want to grab some of the loose vests, they seems so easy to wear but I just don't tend to show my chest off so much, this summer I aim to wear pretty, summery things (unless it rains, which it will so I can be comfy in my jumpers). 

In advance I apologise to my bank balance which will suffer a lot in the coming weeks!

One of my favourite things at the minute are brogues and loafers, they instantly make an outfit look so much more chic when you slip a pair on!

Whether it be summer or winter brogues are simple to wear, while we'd all like to be wearing a pair of brogues straight from Christopher Kane's collection or Prada's in reality we can't afford them (sob sob).

After searching for some leather brogues in a range of colours bonprix have some beauties which are down to £9.99!

These brogues will look gorgeous paired with a summer dress or some straight leg trousers and a simple blouse for the summer at an amazing price! 

You can't go wrong with a pair of brogues as a wardrobe staple!

A few weeks ago I had a shopping day with some friends Laura and Rachel and was pretty much forced into buying a full outfit in Topshop (minus the shoes because no one would let me buy any more). I also picked up a new foundation which is great! I was stuck on the Dream Matte Mousse and Laura helped me pick L'oreal Infallible and of course I picked up a Real Technique brush which is well worth the money!

I am now on a complete spending ban for a very long time and all I want is a new pair of shoes and I can't. It's sad but I just ordered a MacBook Pro so it's all OK.

I now have a lot of revision to do for some exams, wish me luck! Good luck to everyone else who has exams coming up!

Sorry for the lack of posting, due to it being exam season I've been revising a lot in between college and work, today I had my first exam of three which was Media and I feel rather good about it so hopefully the others will go as well!

This blouse was something I spotted and left behind and instantly regretted so when I seen it weeks later I grabbed it instantly and although it was a little steep for H&M at £24.99 I love it so much! Well worth the money!

I picked up this playsuit from River Island as a bit of an impulse buy, after trying it on I was still unsure of it but I'm happy I kept it. I love the print and colours, only thing is because of the cutouts above the chest it occasionally slips down so you can just see boob/bra (not a good look.)
River Island is not somewhere I go into but this certainly was a lovely find on a random rail in the middle of the shop!
